Jelovica’s most advanced home dubbed House A 148 is all you could ever dream of and more.

With dynamic and timeless architecture, this modern home is adapted to the contemporary lifestyle and is currently the most advanced wooden home in our country. Why? Because of its energy efficiency and heating technology, which uses the clean energy of the sun and does not require any human attention. The decision to build an active house is future-oriented and adheres to the principles of sustainable construction.

A home that provides comfort throughout all seasons

Guaranteed optimal air and indoor temperatures throughout the seasons are the result of a thoughtful composition of the structural envelope and the selection of thermal insulation, which reduces fluctuations in indoor temperature depending on the outdoor temperature. Generally speaking, the house offers a pleasant living environment both in winter and summer. It cools in the summer and heats in the winter.

A constantly pleasant temperature in summer is achieved by means of shades and active ventilation with an extra cooling system, and when the outside temperature is suitable, passive cooling with outside air can also be used to bring the indoor temperature down.

A home built for a family

With 148 square meters of living space on the ground floor and in the attic, the floor-plan of the house optimized for a family with up to six members. The house can grow with the family, and the spaces adapt to living habits that change through time. The numerous possibilities for designing the floor are aided by the so-called hybrid space, which offers flexibility in meeting new requirements. The hybrid space can as a wardrobe for one of the bedrooms. Alternatively, it can be transformed into an additional bathroom or remain open towards the staircase and be used for a playroom or library.

A home that breathes

The futuristic home is also distinguished by its ability to actually breathe with its inhabitants. With its smart active ventilation system, it takes care of air quality and reduces the impact of allergens and pollutants on our health. In connection with the distribution system, the active ventilation system ensures the most favorable living conditions.

The ventilation system also includes a cooling, heating and humidifying system. In summer, it allows us to reduce relative humidity and ensure an appropriate temperature of the living space in a suitably shaded building. In the transitional period, the system can also be used as a quick-response heating system. In winter, the humidifying system works to balance out the low humidity resulting from low external temperature. With it, the user can adjust and control humidity their home at will, which significantly improves the quality of living.

A home that automatically regulates living comfort

Living comfort and general well-being are top priorities when building a new home. One of the most important factors is certainly a favorable room temperature, which is in this case ensured by excellent insulation of the building envelope, resulting in high surface temperatures of both walls and building furniture. An even air temperature and peripheral surfaces prevent the occurrence of radiation asymmetry, which reduces thermal comfort in the room. In summer, thermal comfort is maintained with external shades to prevent overheating of the house. At night, open windows allow for natural cooling. The quality of the air is primarily taken care of by the central ventilation system with heat recovery. Additionally, during warm months, natural ventilation is enabled by opening windows and skylights.

Good natural lighting of the rooms stems from the architectural design of the building with a thoughtful placement of windows, which ensures an exceptionally well-lit interior. Light is key to the health and well-being of the user, especially considering that an average a person spends 2/3 of their time at home.

The autonomy of smart automation is an important attribute of this house. The house monitors your habits and preferences and automatically adjusts the lighting, temperature and ventilation.

A home that features both classic and modern design elements

The house features a classic gable roof with functional and decorative elements that give it a fresh and attractive look. The innovative exterior design of the house combines traditional elegance with modern lines. The emphasized roof construction gives the building a classic character and, in connection with pronounced corners, firmly takes its position in space. It gives the user a feeling of safety, while also providing functional shading. The interior is designed with functionality and aesthetics in mind, creating a perfect space for comfortable living.

A home that is completely energy independent

This house not only adapts to you, but also to nature. It is energy independent, utilizing renewable energy sources, such as solar energy, to reduce your costs and protect the environment.

With innovative operating and heating technology which does not require human attention or maintenance, the house abides by the principles of the most advanced smart construction. It is a house in which you will not have to pay an electricity bill and will be able to charge your electric vehicle for free.

A home for people who want to live in sync with nature

What this house brings is modern elegance in harmony with nature. Living in the so-called House of the Future brings you closer to the environment. Large panoramic walls allow for direct contact with the surroundings, creating a feeling that you live in midst of nature without. In addition to its exceptional thermal characteristics, it also regulates air humidity and is suitable for people with allergies.

A home that radiates a feeling of natural warmth

Wood doubles as an exceptional building material and a dynamic and timeless architectural element that brings warmth while also adapting to an active lifestyle.  This house is not just a home, but a way of living that provides comfort, ensures sustainability and is aesthetically appealing.
