Data protection and the conditions of personal data processing
Since 25 May 2018, the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter also referred to as the General Data Protection Regulation or the GDPR), which provides greater security and more rights to individuals whose personal data are being processed, and at the same time stricter obligations for controllers and (contractual) processors of personal data, has been in effect. As we, Jelovica hide, d. o. o., Hrib 1, 4205 Preddvor, Slovenia, registration number 2226880000 (hereinafter also referred to as the controller), want to fulfill all obligations we have as the controller of your personal data (according to the GDPR) towards you, and also want you to be informed about our offer, promotional events, competitions and similar marketing activities after 25 May 2018, we ask for your consent to process your personal data (i.e., your email address) for the purposes explicitly stated and for which you allow the processing of your personal data. You give your consent by filling out the declaration, reading the terms of personal data processing and then clicking the CONFIRM button.
I understand that I must give my consent to the controller for each specific purpose my data is being processed. If I have not marked a specific purpose for the processing of my personal data, it is considered that I have not given my consent for that (unmarked) purpose.
By giving this consent, I am expressing that I am informed about the following:
- The legal basis for processing my personal data is defined in point (a) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR (Consent) and in point (f) of Article 6(1) the GDPR (Processing of personal data for legitimate interests pursued by the controller: direct advertising and marketing).
- In processing personal data for defined purposes, the controller also collaborates with other service providers (hereinafter also referred to as processors), which includes sending newsletters and storing personal data, where processors are trustworthy companies registered to conduct their business, ensure an adequate level of protection of the personal data they process, and process personal data on behalf of and according to the instructions of the controller.
- The controller will store my personal data for a maximum of seven (7) years, after which they will immediately delete them or no longer process them, neither for the purpose for which they were processed nor for any other purpose.
- I am entitled to request from the controller (under the conditions of the GDPR) access to my personal data (Article 15 of the GDPR), correction of my personal data (Article 16 of the GDPR), deletion of my personal data (Article 17 of GDPR), restriction of processing of my personal data (Article 18 of the GDPR), and transfer of my personal data to another controller (Article 20 of GDPR), as well as to object to the processing of my personal data (Article 21 of the GDPR)
- I am entitled to withdraw this consent for the processing of personal data at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on the consent before its withdrawal (paragraph 3 of Article 7 of the GDPR), by notifying the controller at the email address marketing.hise@jelovica.si.
- I am entitled to file a complaint at Informacijski pooblaščenec, Zaloška 59, 1000 Ljubljana, if I believe that the processing of my personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR (Article 77 GDPR).
- The omission of consent for a specific defined purpose of processing personal data will not have any adverse consequences on the business relationship between the controller and me.
